About Me
Cheng Wang
I'm currently an Assistant Professor (ATR Lecturer) in the School of Computing Sciences, University of East Anglia (UEA).
I did my PhD in Computer Science at KAUST with Professor Helmut Pottmann. Before that, I got my Bachelor's degree in Automation at Tsinghua University, in 2016.
My research mainly focuses on Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Geometry Processing, Computational Design and Fabrication. I am also interested in the interdisciplinary areas of visual computing, AI and learning representations. I have published in ACM SIGGRAPH, ACM Transactions on Graphics, and Computer-Aided Design.
I am recruiting self-motivated PhD students (direct emails are welcomed). The UEA offers many research opportunities, projects, and scholarships. Check the research openings here. Apply for a postgraduate research degree via this link and find the application deadlines here.
